It is made of fibres with a layer of pure non-toxic silver, permanently bonded to the surface of the textile yarn. It is antistatic as it has very high electro-conductive and electrostatic properties. Besides its antistatic properties, scientists have discovered that silver interrupts the bacteria cell’s ability to form the chemical bonds essential to its survival.
